Daniel is a director with a passion for flawed, character-driven narratives. Born in Germany to Czech and Hungarian parents and raised in Ireland, he now splits his time between London and Budapest.

His work on the drama-doc series Murder Maps was praised by Guillermo del Toro as “a classy, well-crafted—yet lurid—recreation of infamous Edwardian/Victorian murders.” He also co-created Myths & Monsters, a six-part animated documentary series exploring European mythology and the history of storytelling.

Daniel’s short films have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide, earning awards along the way. He also directs branded films, with recent work for Burger King going viral on Reddit, earning two YDA nominations at Cannes, and making the long list at the 1.4 Awards.
