Daniel is a director with a particular fondness of flawed character-led narratives. He was born in Germany, raised in Ireland and is now hopping between London & Budapest.
His work on the drama-doc series 'Murder Maps' has been described by director Guillermo del Toro as “a classy, well-crafted - yet lurid - recreation of infamous Edwardian/Victorian murders”.
Daniel is also one of the co-creators of 'Myths & Monsters', a 6 part animation documentary series for Netflix (all English speaking territories) covering the history of storytelling through the vast array of European mythology. The series is still one of the most rewatched programmes by members on Netflix.
His short films have screened at numerous Oscar-qualifying film festivals all over the world and even picked up an award or two.
Daniel also makes branded films alongside his long form work. His recent work for Burger King went viral on Reddit, was nominated for two YDAs in Cannes, and made the long list at the 1.4 Awards.
